Overview

This component can display latest news (News Item or Standard Page assets), an events list and a manual feed of social media - all in a single tabbed panel.

News display

News items are fed from an news folder can be displayed in:

• a single row of three tiles (one large/feature tile and two small tiles)
• a single row of four (equal-sized) tiles

The tiles can have images or they can be just text.

There is also an optional link to the full listing of your news items.

Events display

Event items are a list of the next four events in from today's date.

Event items are fed from an event folder or calendar can be displayed in:

• a single row of three tiles (one large/feature tile and two small tiles)
• a single row of four (equal-sized) tiles

If there is no image thumbnail for an event then the description is shown. There is also an optional link to the full listing of Event items

Social media display

The social media part of this component is a manual creation of the posts.

It does not use live connections or feeds to populate it.

Although this seems like it is not that useful, it suits agencies and groups who want to highlight certain posts and not other more recent ones.

It is a manual process so the posts need to be maintained regularly.
